The red wine anno 1951 Portugieser, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Braun has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blauer Portugieser from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Yeasty at the very first contact, but aerates well, plum. On the palate, silky, very high-quality tannins, fine roundness, discreet, seamlessly integrated acidity, texture and fullness, a Portugieser worked on texture, good depth and still far from the end of its development.
