Tasting Notes
Strong ruby, purple reflections, subtle edge brightening. Inviting bouquet with plum and a floral touch, oak savouriness, a hint of blackberry, toffee, mandarin zest. Good complexity, multi-faceted structure, velvety tannins, heart cherry on the finish, mineral-salty, multi-layered food companion, sure maturity and certain ageing potential.
More about the tastingDeep ruby with purple reflections, subtly brighter at the ochre rim. Fine nuances of precious wood, dark fruits of the forest, delicate notes of liquorice, blackberry, some cassis and nougat, and a hint of vanilla. Full-bodied and elegant, with fine berry fruits, the wine has silky tannins, a fresh structure and a mineral-salty finish. It shows length and definite ageing potential.
