Tasting from 07.11.2025: Ulrich Sautter

Mahogany colour. The very clear, complex, mature aroma is reminiscent of the scrupulous selection of dried berries in autumn 1985: there are aromas of Malaga, malt, apricot, roast jus, rhubarb juice and passion fruit. The palate is discreetly oily, very full-bodied, a pinch of phenolics gives tension, fine acidity, mineral, dense, gripping. Very good length, sweet and sour interplay.
