The white wine »S« Chardonnay, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Dautel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Lemon yellow in colour. Quite cool on the nose with aromas of honeysuckle, young peach, yellow apple and some vegetal notes. On the palate there is also some smoke, star fruit, lime and sweet apricot, supported by very good acidity, a streak of minerality and a subtle juiciness, wrapped up in a medium body with an attractive finish. An exciting wine.
