A comparatively light colour, but definitely typical of Burgundy. Fragrant: red berries, bay leaf, thyme, some malt. Caramel from the new wood. The palate has a viscous base, a lively acidity and grippy, slightly clinging tannin, a careful amount of extracted tannin provides structure. Elegance in the making!
