The white wine Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Dr. Baumann has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter, Rainer Schäfer, Elena Scheer with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Strong colour and a rather intensive use of new wood. In the mouth a creamy base with a substantial contrast. Mild acidity and yet a good balance due to the vivid phenolics. A powerful, almost plump Chardonnay that still needs some maturity to integrate the wood.
