The white wine Weissburgunder Südtirol Vinschgau DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Falkenstein has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Bianco from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Clear straw yellow with green reflections. Initially quite a closed nose with a lot of flinty tones, with air comes yellow apple and liquorice. Reductive notes remain in the background. On the palate there's an impressive juiciness and lively acidity, giving life to a complex interplay of fruit, spice and herbal notes. The salty finish lasts long.
