An inviting bouquet of ripe heart cherries, dark wild berry jam, fine precious wood, and a hint of nougat in the background. Very powerful, with a chocolatey texture and pronounced tannins that still need time to develop; velvety on the finish, with delicate, leafy tannins lingering in the aftertaste; will benefit from bottle aging.
