The red wine »vom Quarzit« Frühburgunder trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Forster has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Frühburgunder from the region Nahe in Germany.
Wild berries on the nose, canberryish, sloe, plums, beet, dried herbs, tobacco, milk chocolate. Lush on the palate with a soft base, tight acidity, noticeable tannin, berryish fruit and sweet cherry, a very good accompaniment to a Sunday roast.
