The red wine Blauer Zweigelt Ried Haidacker, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Franz und Christine Netzl has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. There are aromas of ripe plum, black cherry, a hint of nougat, and candied orange zest, it is an inviting bouquet. It is juicy, with good complexity, sweet fruit, ripe tannins, a hint of mint and chocolate, and a salty minerality on the aftertaste. It has very good length, as well as certain ageing potential.
