It has a deep ruby colour, with ochre reflections, and a discreet brightening on the rim. There is a lovely meadow herb savouriness on the nose, with some black cherry fruit, subtle hints of wild berry confit, and clementine zest. It is juicy and tightly woven, with good complexity, some minerality, and a cherry flavour on the finish. It lingers for a long time, and it has definite ageing potential.
