The white wine »Erstes Gewächs« Nordheim Hohe Setz Silvaner trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Freihof has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
A fragrant Silvaner with notes of yellow fruits and a slight balsamic undertone. You can clearly feel the shell limestone. On the palate, the wine is dry but well-balanced, juicy and characterised by vivid acidity, but also rich in extract, full-bodied, with a fine tactile minerality on the finish.
