The sekt »Pinot« brut, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Friedrich Kiefer has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Weißburgunder, Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
It has a buttery and yeasty bouquet, as well as some nutty notes, and straw blossom, and it is finally fruity on contact with the air with aromas of candied orange, and red berry. On the palate there is a fine mousse, good acidity and vivid sweetness, and a smooth and fruity finish rounds off this accessible sparkling wine.
