The red wine Cablot, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Gager has been rated in 2026 by Peter Moser with 94 - 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Burgenland in Austria.
Dark ruby-garnet, opaque core, violet highlights, delicate ochre rim. Delicate notes of licorice and caramel, pickled black cherries, and subtle woody spice. Very powerful, with a sweet texture, ripe tannins, and a finish of heart cherries and nougat; it shows great length and will benefit from further bottle aging.
