The red wine Cablot, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut Gager has been rated in 2011 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
Dark ruby-garnet colour, opaque core, purple reflections. Fine exotic spices, ripe plum fruit, sweet nougat touch, delicate balsamic flavour. Full-bodied, black berries, vivid tannins, fine caramel nuances on the finish, delicate liquorice and cassis in the aftertaste, good length, seems a little dry at the moment, will make a great food companion after some ageing.
