The red wine »Alte Rebe« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Gebrüder Mathis has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
On the nose there is some new wood, sweet cherry, raspberry, red currant and rhubarb. On the palate the wine has a bundled, fine structure, stable acidity, an almost astringent structure. A powerful, and at the same time sophisticated wine.
