The white wine Rüdesheim Berg Schlossberg Orleans, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Georg Breuer has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Orléans from the region Rheingau in Germany.
At first yeasty aromas are noted followed by apple, balsamic, "wild" notes and honey. Soft, almost creamy at first, amazingly ripe, gentle acidity, only getting spicier on the finish. All aspects of this wine are very polished - and clearly there is more weight than the 11.5 percent alcohol would lead one to believe, it feels rounded and full-bodied.
