The white wine »Estate« Rauenthal, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Georg Breuer has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
A "cool", but not green Riesling on the nose: mountain pine, savoury mineral tones, and some blood orange in the background. The palate is completely self-contained, sweetness and acidity are fused into an amalgam; the extract is almost weightless, fine, yet long-lasting and rich in nuances.
