The white wine »Kalkstein« Deidesheim Riesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Georg Mosbacher has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The wine is grapey on the nose, also showing fruit of white currant, crab apple and yeast. ON the palate the wine is juicy and freshly acidic, it has a good density in its straight structure, the chalky minerality gives it a compact impression, but a maturity towards suppleness is evident.
