The sweet and dessert wine Schilfwein Tradition, vintage 2007 from the winery Weingut Gerhard Nekowitsch has been rated in 2010 with 94 - 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Welschriesling, Scheurebe, Muskat-Ottonel, Chardonnay from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
A yellow gold colour. Sweet fruit jellies, oranges, floral notes, a multi-layered bouquet, fine spices and tropical fruits. Juicy, creamy, an opulent fruit sweetness, very harmonious and elegant, a touch of nougat on the finish, lingers well, ripe stone fruit notes in the aftertaste, very good ageing potential.
