The white wine »Jeanette« Scheurebe trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Goldschmidt has been rated in 2017 with 86 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
It would be foolish to describe the Scheu as a German Sauvignon, its character is too independent at best. Cassis, blackberry leaf and elderflower clearly distinguish it, and the acidity is clearly distinguishable on the palate. As in this case.
