It has a delicate ruby colour. There is a wonderful bouquet, with aromas of ripe red currant, morello cherry, with a hint of bergamot and allspice. It has a firm palate, displaying power and elegance at the same time, and it is taut, with a structuring acidity, and fine-grained, almost chalky tannins.
