The red wine Cabernet Franc Unplugged, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Hannes Reeh has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
It has a deep dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. On the nose there is a ripe plum fruit aroma, some orange confit, nuances of dried fruit in the background, and a subtle herbal savouriness. It is juicy on the palate, with a sweet fruitiness, vivid tannins, a chocolate finish, it is aromatic and long lasting, and is a powerful food wine with a subtle astringency on the back palate.
