The white wine »Alte Reben« Iphofen Kronsberg Chardonnay Erste Lage trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Hans Wirsching has been rated in 2018 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Franconia in Germany.
Still very restrained on the nose, a hint of nutty aromas, and herbs, more Keuper than Chardonnay. Taut structure on the palate, full-bodied, dense, almost with a youthful astringency, but also already with a noticeable tactile minerality. It is full of tension, and has a great future.
