The red wine «Fass 2« Linsenhofen Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Hedwig und Helmut Dolde has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Württemberg in Germany.
A strong ruby red in colour. The aroma reveals some new wood with a slightly chocolatey tone, but there is also a Pinot Noir spiciness with notes of black pepper and cherry. The palate is dense with very fine tannins and a firm minerality, a noble form of astringency shows that the wine is completely built for the future. Clarified and full of certain ageing potential.
