Ein Lagenwein aus unserer Lage Badrus. Der Name Badrus stammt aus dem Altromanischen und bedeutet "auf dem Geröll". Unsere alten Pinot Noir Stöcke fühlen sich in diesem steinig-kargen und trockenen Weinberg äußerst wohl und liefern uns jedes Jahr nicht viele, dafür Trauben von allerhöchster Qualität. Nach einer vierwöchigen Maischegärung reift der Wein für zwei Jahre in Französischen Barriques.

Dark ruby red. Deep, savoury nose with notes of spice cookies and mocha. Dark fruit, blackberry, cherry and dried plums, too. Hints of tart herbs. Powerful palate, with cool acidity and silky tannins. Long and elegant.
