Tasting Notes
Strong yellow gold colour. Tobacco and savoury honey notes, clear hints of botrytis, delicate pumpernickel, candied orange peel, some thyme, classic nose in the traditional sense. Powerful, full-bodied, lively acidity that ploughs through the creamy sugar residue, mineral and definitely a little edgy, lingers well, fine caramel nuances on the finish, a real head of character, pleasantly unfashionable, with great certain ageing potential.
