The sweet and dessert wine Ruster Ausbruch DAC »Auf den Flügeln der Morgenröte«, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Heidi Schröck & Söhne has been rated in 2026 by Peter Moser with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Welschriesling, Grauburgunder, Furmint from the region Rust in Austria.
Pale yellow gold, silver reflections. Delicate botrytis spice, nuances of kumquats and candied mandarins, a hint of blossom honey and apricot confit, inviting bouquet. Light-footed, elegant, yet complex and creamy, integrated fruit sweetness, fine acidity, delicate hints of figs on the finish, still very youthful, will benefit from further bottle ageing.
