The white wine »Großes Gewächs« Erbach Siegelsberg Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Heinz Nikolai Inhaber Frank Nikolai has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
The Siegelsberg is rather more savoury than fruity on the nose. It has none of the ripe fruit which the Steinmorgen exhibits, but rather more hints of aniseed, coriander and a touch of apple. The wine remains savoury on the palate, followed by a touch of primary fruit. An ideal food wine.
