The white wine Heitlinger Chardonnay Reserve, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Heitlinger has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
Appealing bouquet with herbs, match strike, smoke and apple, clearly marked by spontaneous fermentation. On the palate it is complex and endowed with much tension, with slightly sweet fruit extract, and also vanilla. It is a chardonnay with structure and expression, and is coherent and compact. It has good ageing potential.
