On the nose, aromas of pear, ripe Mirabelle plum, some yeast and mineral notes with a slight smokiness. On the palate, the wine has a very lively and almost pithy acidity (for a Silvaner), tightly concentrated, with phenolics that still allow green tones. Young, with the potential for ageing.
