The red wine Paul, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Jacqueline Klein has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
It has a deep dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There are aromas of ripe cranberry, red cherry, a hint of sea buckthorn, candied mandarin zest, some fig, and fine oak. It is complex, full-bodied, with sweet berry fruit, ripe tannins, some nougat, a lively structure, and nice toasty flavours. It is already easy to drink, and is an opulent food wine.
