It has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a subtle brightening on the rim. On the palate there is lovely black berry fruit, hints of ripe plum, and nuances of fig, it is an inviting bouquet. It is juicy, and round, with sweet fruit, fine tannins, some minerality, and gentle hints of nougat and dried plum. It has a spicy finish.
