The sweet and dessert wine Rodon, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingut Josef Weger has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Gewürztraminer, Grauburgunder, Weißburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, sparkling golden yellow. Fine, inviting nose, with notes of grapefruit peel, acacia honey and quince jelly. Creamy and round on the palate, with a good balance of fullness and sweetness on the one hand and acidity on the other, with a lovely drinking flow and a grapefruit peel finish.
