The red wine Syrah trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Jul. Ferd. Kimich has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Piquantly herbal and savoury aroma, typical of the variety, menthol and sage pastille, with raisin-like fruit. On the palate, the wine is taut with a good medium dose of fine-grained tannins, the extract rests on a supple, even slightly viscous base, mild and firm components are seamlessly integrated into one another, a finely balanced, rich and even slightly mineral-tinged varietal type.
