Black cherry and blackberries on the nose, plus some cassis and a dark, spicy minerality, nuances of tobacco and herbs. Powerful and rich in extract on the palate, with a discreet, non-distracting CO2 impression, again lots of dark fruit and earthy, mineral and peppery notes. Fine tannin, long finish. Certain ageing potential.
