Tasting Notes
Nose reserved at first, opens with smoky notes, fresh pear, apple peel, citrus, acacia honey, chamomile flowers, vanilla panna cotta. The palate is still determined by the wood, but finely woven, subtle acidity, slightly tannic, has structure, elegance and freshness, very good balance, finishes mild.
More about the tastingRelatively strong toasty spiciness. Gripping density and great tension on the palate, generous on the one hand, but also focused on the other, razor sharp acid backbone, vibrant substance, and some minerality in the background. It needs further bottle ageing.
