The white wine Freedom No. 1, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Klumpp has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grauburgunder, Weißburgunder, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc from the region Baden in Germany.
Grapefruit and vineyard peach on the nose. Opening on the palate with a fine acid nerve, but neither too light-bodied nor too powerful, beautifully balanced in all components, will please lovers of elegant wines just as much as those who prefer a little more sweetness and body.
