The red wine »RdP« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Knipser has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Initially smoky on the nose, then berry notes, complex, a pure Pinot, cranberry notes, cherry. An ultra-fine tannin coats the palate, juicy underneath, delicately mineral-tinged, refreshed by an archetypically fine and at the same time, a lively acid nerve. Very young.
