The rosé »Loup« Rosé trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Köster-Wolf has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Spätburgunder, Portugieser, St. Laurent from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Medium salmon pink in the glass. Fine herbal notes of thyme, sage, raspberry, ripe strawberry, rosehip blossom. Lavender, subtle caramel. On the palate it shows with a beautiful interplay of sweetness and acidity, fresh and juicy, good drinking flow, on a mild summer evening as a soloist or accompaniment to a picnic.
