The white wine Röderswald Pinot Blanc, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Kopp has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 95+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
The aromas of spontaneous fermentation and savoury wood notes combine to create a fragrance of great intensity. There are floral tones, intense herbal aromas (cress) and clearly "stony" undertones. The mineral aspect is also very clear on the palate, with tactile perceptions of rock flour lurking behind the phenolics, while the lively acidity and fruit combine to create a cohesive structure with immense ageing potential.
