The red wine Syrah RedGranite limited edition, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Kurt Angerer has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Lower Austria in Austria.
Deep dark ruby garnet with an opaque core, purple reflections and a lightly watery rim. Spicy herbs, ripe plums, blackberry jam and fresh mandarin zest make up the nose, with an undertone of nougat. Powerful and full-bodied on the palate with a clear dark chocolate touch and some ripe, supporting tannins. It lingers for a long time and makes for a hefty food companion that will benefit from bottle ageing.
