The red wine Zweigelt Ried Schreckenstein limited edition, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Kurt Angerer has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Kamptal in Austria.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, violet glints, delicately paler at the rim. Still a little reserved, fine dark fruits of the forest jam, a hint of liquorice and blackberries as well as nougat in the background and a hint of orange zest. Juicy, expressive and complex, chocolatey-vanilla texture, well-integrated, supporting tannins marked by fine spice on the finish. A the beginning of a great career.
