The white wine »Schwarze Erde« Leiselheim Chardonnay, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Landerer has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
The "Black Earth" does not initially live up to its name on the nose. The wine has a distinctly floral aroma of linden blossom and acacia when freshly opened. Equipped with a powerful acidity, which expands delicately on the palate, and rounds out the finish. By no means weighty, with plenty of juice and texture, the wine oscillates between piquancy and elegance. Very convincing!.
