Dark ruby, purple reflections with a subtle brightening on the rim. Initially somewhat restrained, aromas of fresh cherry with nuances of blackberry confit and a touch of tobacco. The palate is medium bodied with red berry appeal, subtle fruit expression, pronounced tannins and a mineral finish. Will benefit from further bottle age.
