The white wine Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut Leiling has been rated in 2017 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Marzipan, amaretto, magenbrot, gingerbread, roasted almonds. Dense on the palate, chalky minerality is recognisable, a rather sinewy acidity structures the body, there is substance, still comparatively compact despite initial signs of maturity.
