The white wine »Prima Ballerina 2.Oak« Grauer Burgunder Spätlese trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Leiling has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauer Burgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Malty, iodine-like on the nose. Reminiscent of yeast flakes, ripe pear, hazelnut. The wood, alluded to in the wine name is noticeable on the palate. Marked creaminess with delicate astringency, spicy aftertaste defined by the chalky terroir.
