The white wine »Alter Satz« trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Leiling has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Weißburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
This is a very floral wine, with an already appealing nose, with lots of fruit but also good depth. Lychee, mango, rose blossom, lemon cake, and subtle herbal notes characterize both the nose and palate. The rounded acidity provides structure, and this also balances the residual sweetness.
