Rich, clear yellow. Fresh nose with some vanilla, then smoke, with animating lime zest and grapefruit. Taut gripping acidity on the palate, fine phenolics, citrus fruit, medium structure. Has a lot of tension and traction - Chardonnay from a Riesling winemaker!
