The red wine Ried Hexenberg, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Lisa Pfneisl has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Syrah from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Delicate savoury notes of precious wood, black berries, cherries and ripe plums, a hint of nougat, inviting bouquet. Very powerful, red confit, fine extract sweetness, ripe, supporting tannins, mineral aftertaste, light tannins in the aftertaste, still needs some time.
